Raquette/Fondue by night (Friday January 16th)

Hello !
To start the new year socially and with some fresh air, we would like to organize a night trip with the WWF and IUCN outdoorsies:

When ?
Friday night, January 16th

Where ?
Starting from La Givrine at 5:30 pm (with headlamps !), to hike up to La Genolière for a nice and warm fondue

How?
Cross-country skiing, skating, snow-shoeing or hiking with good boots

Who ?
Please confirm by responding to this message and we will book enough tables for the fondue

Our night trip to La Genolière is coming up soon !

12 people have confirmed so far (Christie, Sue, Valérie, Laura, Claire, Julie, Liz, Katharine, Carla, Gill, Elise, Matt) +JC and Gael (TBC?).

If you want to join, let me know before tomorrow afternoon so that I can book enough tables at La Genolière; also let me know if you don't want Fondue.

To make the logistics easier, I suggest that we all go by foot from La Genolière, in which case all you need is good hiking boots, warm clothes and a headlamp (and some wine ?!).
It is 2.5 km, so about 45 min by foot.

There is a train leaving Gland at 17:49, arriving in Nyon at 18:06, for a connection at 18:17 to La Givrine (arriving at 18:58).
So best is to meet at 7 pm at the La Givrine train station and then we can all walk up together to the Auberge La Genolière.
