Biking around the Lake - August 11th from Nyon-Gland to Yvoire-Nernier

Hello !

It has almost become a tradition at IUCN... Every year, our Director General, Julia Marton Lefèvre, Jane Smart and some other staff swims across the lake from Nernier (France) to Prangins plage.
We are also putting together an IUCN/WWF team to bike around the lake during that same time.

Most likely, we will be taking the boat with bikes from Nyon at 10 am, to arrive in Nernier (before Yvoire on the french side of the lake), around 10:15.
The swimmers start around 11am from Nernier, and will then bike through the countryside to Geneva and back to Nyon/Prangins (about 55km, mostly flat).
We should be arriving in Prangins by 2/ 2:30 pm, same time as the swimmers, and share some drinks and snacks.

If the weather is not good on the 11th, this event will take place on the 12th.
