June 18 - climbing

Cool... was planning to buy rope and stuff here but way too expensive in CH so will do in France. Diego will lend me his stuff for tomorrow evening... Ash has a French class... I'll ask Basile if he is around too.

Meeting time and place? Where is St Loup? I'll be in lausanne all day tomorrow with a car at hands, so easier if not too far from Lausanne.

I heard St Loup is ridden with ticks. How about St Cergue with barbie? Would anyone like to sleep up there?

St Loup is also a bit far away for one night...
I can pick up 3 people at the Nyon train station at 6:30pm, will pick up Matt then, and be up there around 7pm.
We don't have BBQ stuff, but will bring pique niques, and extra rope and draws.

PS: As for the week-end, might go to Ash's place saturday night, so Gastlosen would be good for a day out on Sunday ? it is really nice up there

Has someone kept all the BBQ stuff (i.e. charcoal etc) from last time? Anything we need to buy for the BBQ except food/drinks?

I have Vince's barbie thing, it is not very big, another one would be useful. Should get coal tomorrow.

To reduce our carbon emissions , I suggest we all meet at 6:30/ 6:35 pm at the Station essence next to La Combe supermarket, just above the highway of Nyon, and there, we can car -pool and leave some cars on the parking lot?

Hi all..
I'm new here but I've been following your whereabouts closely! So if the weather holds I'd love to join you climbing and BBQ'ing tonight.. I have planned on taking my car as well as I don't want to come back too late (I live in Prangins) but I can be convinced otherwise if convenient for all... :-)

Good idea for car pooling Elise, who-ever can meet there - please do. I will liaise here with peeps leaving from WWF (Basil, Gael, Diego, Magali?). This would mean that we are also complete going from here, and in that case I will give Elise a buzz. People who want to go from here, call me to fix the time. elm
